How secure is FileWays?

All files are encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We use zero-knowledge architecture where possible, and support two-factor authentication, SSO, and SOC 2 compliance for Business+ plans.

What’s the largest file I can upload?

Free users: 100MB. Pro: 1GB. Business: 10GB. Enterprise: 100GB. All plans support resumable uploads for reliability.

 

Can I upload any file type?

Yes. FileWays accepts all file formats. Previews are supported for common types (PDF, DOCX, JPG, MP4, etc.), but you can store and share any file securely.

How do team workspaces work?

Workspaces are shared folders with customizable permissions. You can invite members, assign roles (viewer, editor, admin), and see real-time activity—all in one place.

 

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can change plans anytime. Upgrading is instant; downgrading takes effect at the end of your billing cycle.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on annual Business and Enterprise plans. Free and monthly plans are non-refundable but can be canceled anytime.

Can I add or remove team members?

Absolutely. Admins can manage members, reset access, and review logs at any time through the dashboard.

What happens when I delete a file?

Deleted files go to a 30-day trash bin (longer on Business plans). After that, they’re permanently erased from our systems in compliance with data minimization principles.
